At Phalanx K9 Modular Dog Training, our foundation style dog training equips your dog with real protection skills, helping to mitigate aggression in your dog by giving them an outlet, and not making your already sweet dog aggressive. We focus on a dogs natural protection drives rather than using protection sports techniques that other trainers will use putting the dog in more of a play drive or fearful/flight drive that will be unreliable in a real world situation and could prove disastrous, while ensuring our methods are humane, safe during the entire process and giving the dog proper feedback to let the dog know they’re doing the right thing protecting the handler. We will not force a dog to do the work if we don't feel they will want to do it naturally.

Using a structured command system and reward schedule, we start with positive reinforcement and add fair corrections only when necessary.
